The Last Magi is a main quest in the DLC “Legacy of the First Blade” in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
Your task is to meet up with a mysterious member of the Order who summoned you.
Here’s a walkthrough of The Last Magi in AC Odyssey.
This quest is recommended for those level 52 and above, but it differs according to your own level.
Meet the writer of the mysterious letter
After the previous quest, you should have received a letter from a child. You have to meet the mysterious man who wrote the letter, at the graveyard.
The exact location is shown in the map below, marked as the quest symbol.
Get inside the graveyard and a cutscene will load.
The mysterious person turns out to be the last Magi in the Order.
Follow Gergis the Herald
This Magi is a member of the Order and his name is Gergis the Herald. You can kill him at any time but you should first follow him.
Grab your horse and follow him.
Keep going until you reach a point where he gets down from his horse and observes the view.
To kill or not to kill
During the conversation, I chose “Compassion”. It didn’t do much to the story.
The more important conversation choice is whether to fight him or let him go.
I chose to kill him by choosing “You die now”.
Kill Gergis
If you had followed the same choice, you need to defeat him now. Killing him will have a small outcome on a later quest where you need to kill the other members.
If you had let him go, he’ll probably leave, but I’m not sure how it will affect the outcome later.
Once he’s dead, you’ll receive some items.
There’s also a new engraving – 1% health restored on headshots.
