Afraid Of A Little Competition? is a story mission in Days Gone.
Your task is to look for a bag of silicate for one of Sarah’s projects.

Go west of Wizard Island
Apparently there’s a bag of silicate at an abandoned village. Go west of Wizard Island camp and you should find the village, as shown in the map.
You’ll see some buildings there.
Look for the bag of silicate
To access the building, you need to climb up the roof.
As you’re up there, you will see a couple of newts. Kill them all.
Once they’re dead, jump into the building via the hole on the roof.
You will encounter more freakers inside.
Clear the area and collect the bag of silicate.
Return to Sarah
After getting the silicate, go back to Sarah at the camp area.
A cutscene will load and the mission completes here. You’ll get 7,000 XP for this mission.
