Early Life
Kaya Scodelario was born on the 13th of March 1992 in Haywards Heath, England. Her mother is a Brazilian while her father was British.
Her parents separated when she was a kid and she was later raised by her mother in London. Kaya then took her mother’s surname and became fluent in Portuguese.
Career
Kaya started her career back in 2007 when she was cast in the British series Skins. She left after the fourth series and was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Quick Awards twice.
Scodelario made her debut in movies with the science-fiction Moon. She then acted in Shanks in 2010. She later appeared in the movie Clash of the Titans (with Liam Neeson, Mads Mikkelsen and Sam Worthington).
