Early Life
Finn Michael Wolfhard was born on the 23rd of December 2002 in Vancouver, Canada. His family is of French, Jewish and German descent.
His father is a researcher on aboriginal land claims and his older brother is also an actor.
Career
Finn’s acting career began when he got his first job from Craigslist. He then appeared in Supernatural and CW’s The 100.
His breakthrough came really early as he got a role as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, alongside Millie Bobby Brown and Gaten Matarazzo. The cast won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Apart from Stranger Things, he also has another Netflix show titled Carmen Sandiego.
In 2017, Finn made his feature movie debut with the popular horror movie It, by Stephen King. He later acted in Dog Days (with Vanessa Hudgens) and reprised his role in It Chapter Two.
Finn then voice-acted in The Addams Family, alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Charlize Theron. He also did some modeling in 2019 with Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter campaign.
In 2020, Finn acted in The Turning, Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia and will star in Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
