You can make fine cloth in Stardew Valley and it is an ingredient needed to build a mill with the carpenter.
This mill can generate flour from wheat and sugar from beets. You can also sell the cloth for good profit.
Here’s how you can make fine cloth in Stardew Valley.
Build a loom
One of the things you need to make fine cloth is by first crafting a loom. This loom is needed to convert raw wool into fine cloth.
To build it, you need wood, fiber and pine tar. Wood is obtained from trees and fiber is obtained from weeds.
To get a pine tar, you need to craft a tapper first. Place the tapper on a pine tree (image below).
You then need to wait for days before you see any pine tar residue.
Once it’s ready, collect the pine tar and build a loom.
You need sheep
Once you have the loom or while waiting to craft it, you need raw wool.
Wool can be obtained from sheep, so you need to build a Deluxe Barn first (upgrade on a regular barn).
Once you have the Deluxe Barn, buy a sheep from Marnie’s animal shop.
After a couple of days, the sheep should leave behind raw wool. When it’s old enough, you can also use shears to extract wool.
Once you have the wool, put it in the loom and wait until you get fine cloth.
